New Year's Eve at La Truite d'Argent is not a party with confetti. It is relaxed: five courses that take their time, and a clock that only becomes interesting towards twelve. Seven tables, fourteen guests, the wood stove lit.
If you stay with us, there is no need to head out into the dark Ardennes after midnight.

One seating. The courses follow one another at an easy pace; around twelve we raise a glass together.

After midnight
Nobody has to take to the road
Sleep in a cabane, chalet or suite just steps from your table, and begin the year with nothing more than — perhaps — snow, silence and a wood stove still glowing. Thirteen accommodations, adults only.

The first morning of the year
No alarm clock. Not breakfast but brunch. If you stay with us, you sit down at 10:30 am for The Early Slowness: a brunch overlooking a valley that has not yet noticed the new year. And if you like, you stay at the table the following evening for the New Year's Day menu.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, external guests are welcome. Do bear in mind that the evening runs past midnight and that Cetturu is dark and quiet in winter: those who can stay the night have it easier.
There is one five-course menu. If you have serious allergies or intolerances, please contact us in advance.
Online, via the ‘Book 31 December’ button. You pay for the menu in full straight away; drinks are settled on site. Cancellation is free up to 7 days before the date; after that it is non-refundable. Staying with us? Then a few days before arrival you will receive an email to book your dinner or breakfast.
