There is a rare category of friendship: the sort that survives a whole weekend under one roof. The Lodge was built for that friendship too. Two proper bedrooms — a king-size and two single beds — so everyone appears at the breakfast table fresh and cheerful in the morning.

By day you head into Deux Ourthes Nature Park together, or precisely not together — the valley is big enough for two different paces. In the evening the four of you gather at our restaurant The Kingdom of Dreams, a short walk from your front door. And the sum: € 167.50 per couple per night — less than two separate stays, with a shared living room thrown in.

The two of you: the estate's most spacious stay

Some couples book a cabane. Others book 100 square metres. The Lodge is for those who would rather not live any smaller on holiday than they do at home — with a living room where the wood stove is the centrepiece, a bath for one while the other prefers a shower. The master bedroom with its commanding view is the icing on the cake.

Outside you have a private terrace and the kind of silence you would pay good money for in the city. And for two guests an adjusted rate applies — from € 285 per night.
