Hiking route to Houffalize (the Ourthe valley)

This is absolutely our personal favourite. About twice a month we lace up our hiking boots for this beautiful, varied trek from our resort to the heart of Houffalize. The route runs largely along unpaved forest paths and offers stunning views over the valley.

Once in Houffalize we always stop for a cosy, well-earned lunch at Grand Café Houffalize. Then we walk back to our quiet headquarters, full of fresh energy.

Nature walk to Bernistape

Looking for a relaxed walk for the early morning or late afternoon? This route starts right at La Truite d'Argent and takes you to the tiny hamlet of Bernistape, close to the Luxembourg border.

It is a wonderfully accessible walk along quiet paths. The chance of meeting other people here is negligible, making for a fantastic connection with nature.
