Unique Accommodations in the Ardennes
Designed with Love, Amidst the Nature of Houffalize
Every accommodation on our estate was designed, built and furnished by ourselves. Not out of thrift, but simply because we love doing it.
The result: thirteen stays across six types that exist nowhere else — from a spacious Lodge to snug cabins where the wood stove crackles softly. Six of them are charming suites in the inn, for guests who prefer to stay close to the restaurant. And for those who like to bring their own home, there are three Camp & Dinner pitches — with one important difference: you can leave the cooking to us.
And then there is the silence. Here, that is not a marketing promise but a deliberate choice: our entire estate in the Deux Ourthes Nature Park, in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, is 100% adults-only. No children, no pets, no cheerful entertainment programme.
We bought this inn and its valley in 1998 and officially opened in 2001; ever since, we have been drawing, building, improving — and occasionally tearing down to start again. Below you can see the result.
The Lodge
Our pride and joy. With The Lodge we wanted to capture the feeling of luxury and nature. We drew large window sections to bring the forest inside. The result is a spacious nature house with a warm living area, a complete kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom you won't want to leave. Ideal for a stay with family or friends in nature.

Chalets
Step inside and you smell it right away: wood. No veneer, no imitation — pure timber construction, the way the Ardennes have done it for centuries. We picked out every piece of furniture ourselves and decided every detail. Surrounded by nature and equipped with all the comfort you need.

Cabanes
The cabane was the first of its kind: a romantic cottage by a stream in the Ardennes, fully equipped for a holiday for two. Every detail is designed for slowing down. With the wood stove burning, a good book and the woods around you, you immediately understand why we wanted to build this ourselves.

Dream Suites
We wanted to create a hotel room, only better. So we placed the bed on the mezzanine, directly beneath a large skylight. You fall asleep here gazing at the starry sky. Downstairs, a bathroom with bathtub, an In-Suite Bistro kitchenette and a seating area await. Our answer to the standard hotel experience.

Wellness Suite
Your personal wellness suite with private sauna in the Ardennes. No shared facilities, pure private relaxation. Here too you sleep on a cozy mezzanine under the stars. And because relaxation also goes through the stomach, you have your own Culinary Corner.

Valley Suite
We find this suite ideal for guests who spend most of their day outdoors. Here too you have your own Private Bistro: no need to go outside for breakfast. Stay in your bathrobe, butter a roll, pour another cup and gaze outside.
