Beer
We only serve beers made by small independent breweries. A simple fact is that those breweries spend more time on producing a good beer instead of doing marketing, which we think is perfect. That’s why you can find the famous Urthel beer collection, the Trappistbeers such as ……… and the beers of brewery Boon in our bar. The special taste of these beers bring out the best in our various dishes based prepared with beer, we serve a sauce based on “kriekenbier”, Chicory soup with “Geuzenbier” and a honey-beer dressing.

Wine
If you are a wine lover.... don't worry; our wine list continues to expand.
Because our menu changes every season and contains basic recipes we want to offer you the best complementary wines available for a good price. Our focus lies with the French wines. Those French guys have had many years of experience and they have proven their quality; So why go somewhere else....?

We like to offer a selection of wines within everyone’s financial reach, that’s why we don’t use the customary profit margin. Instead we charge a so-called cork-fee which is a set amount for each bottle on top of the cost price. This way, more expensive wines and Champage are affordable for everyone.
At La Truite D’Argent you can experience wines you normally wouldn’t drink because of their price.

Is there something to celebrate? Ask for bubbles…. We have various bottles of Champagne, Cremant or Cava in stock. Some of our liquors such as Cointreau, Tia Maria, Prunelle and Grand Marnier are homemade.

Whisky lovers can find some beautiful classic Malts in our bar.
